The Friends are a group of volunteers whose mission is to support the library by funding programs and materials not covered in the library budget. Since COVID, the NAPL has been revitalized with exciting programs such as artists nights, amazing speakers, creative workshops and more. the Friends are proud and happy to be part of this growth.
The Friends have two fundraisers a year to support our work, a Membership Drive and a book sale. All you have to do to become a Friend is fill out an application found on this website or at the front desk. All are welcome.
Some examples are new computers and chairs for patrons and staff, museum passes, a license to show current movies and popcorn machine, stipends for guest presenters on workshops, craft materials and holiday decorations.
